What struck me today: how are the Siege Cannons on the turtles reloaded? And for that matter, if the Luxons already have gunpowder and cannons, why haven't they made a fortune selling them to other armies? The Acalonians could take back the whole country with some cannons. Not to mention that the Shining Blade would never have gotten close to the White Mantle temples/castles with a few well-placed cannons on the ramparts.

people believing that the more stones you have the more experience you have when they are easily bought, usually from the same person who demands to see them

Fight through hordes of vicious aggressive mobs and there, standing right in the middle of the last mob you put down is ... a Collector! Or some other NPC. The mobs don't bother them. Do they feed the monsters? Perhaps they sing and dance for them and bring them little gifts.
Where do these NPCs live? If in the nearest outpost, some of them have a long walk!

That's right I totally forgot NPC collectors. There are these <lvl 10 collectors in all these ultra-hostile and unlivable environments. Deep in Charr territory, the Ring of Fire Islands, deep in warden/outcast territory and so on.
They made it slightly more believable in Nightfall where they put ghosts in the more inhospitable evironments, but that begs the question of how they can hold these items, why do they want them, and how do they store them along with having items to give you for them.

Why don't you insta-die stepping into lava(ring of fire for example) at 800-1000 C°, and just burn a little?
Why we have to fight in UW and FoW for Grenth and Balthazar? They're god no? If Balthazar/Grenth says "Buh!" the army of darkness/ghosts could be destroyed by them no?
Why in all 4 GW expansions there's ALWAYS a old, powerful, forgot by everyone foe (Lich+Shiro+Abaddon+Great Destroyer) and you are always the fool who is caught in the middle and have to stop it saving the world?
P.S: in GW2 too!

Well, that's just a standard fantasy trope, really. A lot of things do that

I always picture the collectors as these survival type guys who choose to live away from civilization and they pay you a reward for you bringing them trophies of nearby pests who they themselves have to waste time hunting and clearing out when you aren't around.

When I saved the world from Abaddon and became a renowned hero, my next quest was being ordered to get my hands dirty and take the trash out! (by Hedge Wizard Mabai in Garden of Seborhin). Talk about a fall from grace!

Yeah agreed just watch "The Mummy"
They could have killed the guy a thousand different ways but chose to do it in the one way that had a very slight chance of turning him into an unkillable monster able to destroy the world.
So that's what they did.
Motto just chop the head off and burn the bugger, better yet serve him up at a banquet and eat him.

After running "Warn the Tengu" about 23 times (getting the mules leveled up in preparation for Canthan New Year) I can't help but notice the large pile of human skulls in the "friendly" Tengu camp. Do they just pick off a stray traveler now and then, and have him for supper? Maybe as revenge for all those chicken dinners we have...

Could be Crimson Skull skulls... those raiders are a pain even to the Tengu I'm sure.
What I want to know is... how in the world did Palawa Joko get to Gunnar's Hold for the Bison Tourney, knock Mogni out and then take over as the tourney champion... when we are the 'champions' after completing the quest for the first time.

Agree with this but what's been bothering me since I first loaded Sanctum Cay some five years ago is... Why the hell does he want my Scepter when he already has one of his own?!
Where does my pet go after I remove Charm (or Comfort) Animal from my skillbar? Pet Mists?
How can Kuunavang go all hummingbird on us without actually flapping her wings like a madman?

The thing that doesn't make sense is that in this massive storage space is that you can store very large and VERY heavy items. I can tell you for a fact that a Mace/Hammer weighs quite a bit, yet i can store 65 of them AND still run the same speed as without them. I have no idea how much Platinum weigh but 100 of them would undoubtedly weigh something.
Yes I know this is a GAME and not realistic but i always thought it was odd that we can have so much storage on our characters without any visual representation.

Dude, we can carry 250 iron ingots. The typical single iron ingot weights 60 pounds, multiply by 250 and your carrying 15,000 pounds of iron in your back pack.
Which reminds me, the Nightfall warrior Endgame armor requires 400 iron ingots and 400 bones, assuming a single bone weights 3 pounds. That armor weights 25,200 pounds, far outweighing Master Chiefs armor. That's the same weight as the Cowboys Stadium's Center-Hung Diamond Vision TV screens.
If we can run around no problem wearing 25k pounds of armor, I'm pretty sure we can carry extra stuff.

I also was wondering how we could fit stacks of iron and steel in a backpack.

@ The second one: Brother of balthazar, jealous something, wants to take over FoW or something, something, lore blabla...

But, indeed, we're trying to add logic to a video game.. Durr...
